Adrian Sannier to speak at ASUMAC April 18th General Meeting

Adrian Sannier, University Technology Office, is scheduled to speak at the ASUMAC general meeting on Tuesday, April 18th at 10:30 AM. The general meeting will take place in the Computing Commons auditorium (CPCom 120).

This will be an open discussion meeting, with a focus on the role of computing user groups on campus. The general meeting is open to all that would like to attend.

Apple Remote Desktop 3

Apple "quietly" released the latest version of their Apple Remote Desktop software. The latest version is Apple Remote Desktop 3 and claims to be a vast improvement over the previous releases. It is also a Universal package, making it available for both PowerPC and Intel based Macs. More info can be found on Apple's site:

Boot Windows on a Mac? Yes you can, if...

...you have an Intel based Mac. Apple announced the beta release of Boot Camp. The software allows Windows XP to be installed and run natively on Intel based Mac hardware. More info can be found at:
